The RC car Workshop at NIT, Warangal was organized by the Mechanical department of NITW. It was held on 27 and 28th of August,2011. This RC car Workshop was organized for the first time in NITW. For the RC car workshop we had about 70 participants. In-spite of heavy Rain, they have attended the workshop with the same enthusiasm on both the Days. I have expected more participants from the mechanical Department, but to my great surprise there were more number of Computer science students than mechanical guys. This Workshop was attended by students from different departments like Bio-tech, civil, chemical, ECE..etc. Most of them were the freshers in the college. So I had to teach them from Basics of the Automobiles to the Advanced section of RC Cars. At the end of the workshop, I can't able differentiate the students by their departments, as they all have eagerly learnt about each and every component of RC cars. So I planned to test them with a short Quiz on RC cars. It helped me to pick up the best 10 out of the lot. I handed over the merit certificates to them. They all were happy with my 2 day workshop(which i learnt from the feedback forms) .
